Chong Wai Lei is a graphic designer from Macau, who is passionate in bringing storytellings into her designs. Specialising in branding, illustrations and editorial design, she does not hesitate to experiment with bringing new and playful elements into her designs.
Lei strives to always bring in new and creative ideas to the table, finding new ways through her surroundings to push the boundaries of design. With her multicultural background and trilingual proficiency, her fluency in Cantonese, Chinese and English allows her to bring a touch of cultural, global perspective to every project.
Superstitions – An interactive zine that explores deeper questions about cultural superstitions, belief systems, and identity. Asks readers to consider where they stand on the spectrum between belief and skepticism.
Old Boy's Athletic – Winning design for the live design brief set by Pentagram in collaboration with Ravensbourne University London. Old Boy’s Athletic’s branding captures the enterprise in a playful and energetic way, creating an identity that would separate it from it’s competitors in the same sector. The use of fun shapes and bright colours helps to build in the excitement and the powerful energy of the youths. Every individual can be part of something authentic, helping to build the brand together through diversity and voices.
Sounds of Heritage – Sounds Of Heritage is a Cantonese Opera Festival in London, held in the Southbank Centre. The festival is a cross-cultural celebration of tradition and modernity, aiming to bring the sounds and visuals of Cantonese opera to a diverse audience. The brand blends both Chinese and English, creating a bilingual and immersive experience that invites curious newcomers to explore and appreciate the art and music of Cantonese culture together.

RowVive is a hair care brand that is designed for rowing athletes who are always on the go, whenever you need a little revive, Row-Vive will always be by your side. RowVive is the on-the-go solution that keeps your hair strong, healthy, and hydrated. The packaging reflects the nature, small travel size bottles to carry with ease as you head into the water.
