SidekickSuicide&Co developed the Sidekick app to support individuals grieving a loss to suicide and to encourage open conversations around suicide-related grief. While the app had strong intentions, it lacked a modern, digital approach that could effectively attract and support its target users. To address this, Adegboyega led a redesign focused on creating a more intuitive, empathetic, and engaging user experience. His approach involved reimagining the UI to feel modern and emotionally supportive, while also using customer data to drive hyper-personalised experiences. Adegboyega conducted user research and journey mapping to understand pain points, streamline interactions, and eliminate friction. The new information architecture made it easier for users to access support resources, navigate content, and save helpful tools or articles. Throughout the process, he drew inspiration from successful mental health apps and incorporated feedback from real users to ensure each design decision was rooted in both data and compassion. Key features like quick access to support, saved favourites, and an optional onboarding process helped foster a more inclusive, welcoming environment. The final result was a significant improvement in user engagement and satisfaction, helping Sidekick better serve bereaved individuals and grow its impact within the mental health space.
EcotraceEcoTrace is a sustainability-focused platform designed to bridge the gap between ethical fashion intentions and true transparency. It empowers fashion brands to openly showcase their supply chains, material usage, and sustainability goals, while enabling consumers to track the environmental impact of their favourite clothing items. In a fashion landscape increasingly driven by conscious consumerism, EcoTrace responds to the growing demand for accessible, trustworthy information. By simplifying complex sustainability data into clear, visual insights, the platform makes it easier for users to understand where products come from and what environmental impact they carry. Through interactive features, brands can highlight their progress and accountability, fostering trust and credibility. Consumers, in turn, can explore detailed impact metrics and make informed purchasing decisions based on real data, not just marketing claims. This project investigates how thoughtful digital design can demystify sustainability, turning abstract data into actionable insight. Lomare Technologies LTDLoMaRe, a tech innovator in thin-film memory solutions, needed a digital refresh to better reflect their cutting-edge work and global partnerships. Their existing website was outdated, lacked intuitive navigation, and did not communicate the company’s advancements effectively. To address this, Adegboyega led a comprehensive redesign and redevelopment of their online presence. The revamped website delivers a sleek, high-performing platform with a modern, user-friendly interface. Improved functionality and streamlined user journeys ensure visitors can quickly access key information about LoMaRe’s technology, achievements, and international reach. The design was aligned with the brand’s future-facing identity, creating a more credible and impactful digital experience. In tandem with the website, Adegboyega developed a cohesive social media strategy to consistently spotlight LoMaRe’s strengths. This included designing visually engaging, scroll-stopping posts that highlighted their global partnerships and breakthrough innovations in thin-film technology. Together, the redesigned website and enhanced social media presence significantly elevated LoMaRe’s digital profile. The project successfully resolved previous usability and design issues, reinforced brand consistency, and better aligned their digital platforms with business goals and user expectations. Arise, Behavioural Insights TeamThis project focused on designing a mental health app grounded in behavioural science and supported by insights from the UK government. The core aim was to embed the Five Ways to Well-being, a proven framework for improving mental and emotional health, into a digital product. With few existing apps applying this framework effectively, the project set out to fill a crucial gap in the market by delivering a more engaging, evidence-based user experience. The solution was crafted to address all five pillars, Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning, and Give, through a seamless, intuitive interface. Drawing on research from the UK Behavioural Insights Team and user research findings, the design featured a hyper-personalised UI, reimagined information architecture, and clearly defined user journeys. Key features included a plant-sharing heat map to foster community, customisable profiles, plant care summaries, and social tools such as community chats to encourage learning and connection among users. Personalisation was driven by customer data to ensure relevance, accessibility, and emotional resonance. User testing validated the approach, highlighting the importance of visible social features and improved navigation. The result is a mental health app that transforms evidence-based strategies into meaningful, actionable experiences for everyday well-being.
