Gabriella Manoela Gambaro

Gabriella Manoela Gambaro is a mature undergraduate architecture student driven by the belief that design can foster belonging and bring people together in meaningful ways. Her work consistently centres on community and seeks to create inclusive, emotionally rich spaces that encourage connection, cultural expression, and shared experiences. She approaches each project with deep care and curiosity, combining research, narrative thinking, and intuitive design.

With a strong commitment to giving her best, Gambaro thrives on creating architecture that is both functional and poetic. Through each drawing, model, and collage, she aims to show that architecture is much more than just the design and construction of buildings, it’s about people, moments, and the quiet magic of everyday life shared in space.

South Elevation – South elevation, presents the material choices on the facades of the accommodation building and market, along with the use of public space.

Market Entrance Exterior View – Depicts the entrance to the market hall, right side, and accommodation entrance, left side. The market hall is stepped back from the street to allow a gathering space in front of the building.

Internal Courtyard Perspective – Internal courtyard garden and social space, where residents can congregate and social activities are conducted.

Tastes of Home Menu – Food prepared by the young migrants from around the world are served to the Croydon community in order to create strong bonds with the croydon community and bringing their home to the food market.

Market Bay Study – The market bay study showcases the materiality of the façade. It depicts the sustainable materials used to construct the timber strip façade, the material connections between floor, wall and roof and covered social space at the entrance.
