Isobelle Couling

Isobelle Couling is a 20 year old aspiring fashion buyer with a passion for all things product development. Completing her final year studying at Ravensbourne University London, her academic journey has provided great insight into the development process — from trend forecasting, supporting design processes to engaging in supplier communication. Couling has also demonstrated a commitment to environmental responsibility, actively seeking out environmentally responsible materials and ethical sourcing practices throughout her studies.

This passion was further reinforced through industry experience during a six month buying internship at Whistles. During this placement, Couling gained invaluable insight into the commercial and creative aspects of buying, contributing to seasonal range planning, sample coordination, garment fittings and supplier negotiations. The internship broadened her industry knowledge and solidified her career direction.
