Kaitlyn Scarlett Burroughs

Kaitlyn Scarlett Burroughs is a third year Fashion Buying and Brand Management student with a strong focus on marketing, responsible fashion and fashion business. She has learnt so many valuable skills through industry level projects, her industry placement and workshops.

For her Final Major Project, Burroughs has created a responsible lingerie brand — Libra which is her proudest work to date. For her Final Major Project, Burroughs created Libra — a responsible lingerie brand and her proudest work to date. Libra offers a thoughtful solution for women with asymmetric breasts, a group often overlooked by the lingerie industry. Motivated by her own experiences and those of the women around her, Burroughs set out to create a brand that prioritises fit, comfort, and inclusivity. As part of the project, Burroughs developed a comprehensive business plan, including detailed costings, a five-year expenditure forecast, and funding strategies. She also conducted extensive primary and secondary research, directed two creative brand shoots, and produced a full marketing plan.
