This project reimagines the iconic red plastic chair, a familiar sight across the streets of Vietnam, as a meaningful and accessible DIY experience. With downloadable 3D files, it invites users to engage with a piece of everyday culture through making. More than just a functional object, the chair represents shared moments such as meals, conversations, and community. This design encourages reflection on cultural identity and offers a hands-on way to connect with the stories behind the objects people often overlook.

It comes with three different backrest panels to suit individual preferences, and offers two attachment options.

Each DIY set requires 8–10 screws, 3–5 3D-printed parts, and some weaving rope, all ready for assembly.

Features an adjustable backrest with 3D-printed screws, suitable for users of all heights. The screws are intentionally designed longer, allowing users to hang items like bag straps or hats.
