Kristina Isallari

Kristina Isallari is a dedicated and creative architecture student with a strong interest in sustainable and socially responsive design. She sees architecture as a way to solve real-world problems and improve the way people live.

Over her three years at Ravensbourne University London, Isallari has developed a design approach that blends conceptual thinking with a practical understanding of materials, systems, and spatial experience. She’s especially interested in ideas rooted in history, culture, and context, always shaped by the needs of users and clients.

She has served as a student representative throughout her studies and is highly engaged in university life, regularly taking part in events and activities across departments. a Isallari is hardworking, communicative, and thrives in collaborative settings. She loves working with people from different creative fields, including photography, film, and game design and believes that diverse perspectives can lead to richer, more innovative outcomes in design.

The project was sparked by Zaha's own academic project Malevich's Tectonic set on the Thames, and proposes a playful and unique space to enjoy her work with a city backdrop. The idea for the terrain like floors in this design was inspired by the city's skyline when looking towards Tower Bridge
