Liza Jones is a London based media artist, who explores various themes of identity, memory and sensory observations throughout her work. In her recent project, “Listen With Your Eyes”, she researches what sensory overload is and experiments with different visual mediums, to see how they can be portrayed into non-visual experiences; through sound, discomfort and emotion. By creating a moving image piece which mixes glitch aesthetics, stylised visuals and sound design, Jones's work challenges viewers to interact with the piece in a new and different way, but showcasing how unseen sensations can be powerfully felt through visual media.
