Lingo Buddy is a language-learning walkie-talkie designed to support children aged 6-11 years old who are learning English as an additional language (EAL). It combines the familiarity of a walkie-talkie with interactive language games, helping children build vocabulary and confidence through play. The device features a playful, ergonomic design with a scroll wheel for tactile interaction, encouraging hands-on learning.
Its intuitive user interface includes a range of games, like word searches and story dice, that promote collaboration and critical thinking.
The Buddy Mode allows two devices to connect, fostering social interaction and language practice in real-world contexts. Lingo Buddy represents a fresh approach to language learning, combining fun, function, and friendship to create a supportive learning environment for children navigating a new language.
