Otto Klosterfelde

Otto Klosterfelde is a multidisciplinary artist working across photography, sound, and installation to explore themes of voice, silence, and perception. Rooted in experimental image-making, Klosterfelde’s work often pushes the boundaries between presence and absence — flashing moments into visibility, amplifying emotion through sonic distortion, and carving out space for what’s hidden or unheard.

Born in Berlin and based in London, Klosterfelde draws on urban environments, memory, and repetition to construct immersive experiences that challenge how we see and listen. Recent work includes audiovisual pieces blending flash photography with manipulated soundscapes, influenced by Dada, protest culture, and subconscious imagery. Klosterfelde is currently completing a Foundation in Art and Design at Ravensbourne University London and will be progressing to study International Social and Public Policy BSc at the University of Bristol.
