A Collectible Physical/Digital AR Tool for Fashion Engagement
A Collectible Physical/Digital AR Tool for Fashion EngagementThis Final Major Project explores how augmented reality and print design can work together to create interactive experiences within fashion. At the centre is a collectible paper doll that unlocks a digital wardrobe through AR. Users can mix and match modular outfit pieces and learn more about each item. The project sits at the intersection of fashion, gaming, and experience design, taking influence from vintage formats, service design methods, and interactive storytelling. It considers both playful interaction and practical use across retail, exhibition, or educational settings.
Touchpoint Enhancement for Burberry
Touchpoint Enhancement for BurberryA speculative service design project exploring how AR and digital tools could enhance Burberry’s omnichannel customer experience. Informed by user research and analysis of existing brand touchpoints, the concept maps a connected journey across the Burberry app, Instagram filters, an AR pop-up store, and in-store digital displays. The project considers how augmented reality might support Burberry’s approach to physical–digital integration, using interaction and service design to propose subtle, brand-aligned enhancements to engagement across platforms.
Exploring Digital Fashion Through VR
Exploring Digital Fashion Through VRThis VR experience explores the paradigm shift towards digital fashion in response to the environmental impact of fast fashion. Built in Unreal Engine 5, it uses data visualisation, spatial storytelling, and worldbuilding to highlight the scale of industry waste and the role digital platforms could play in changing how fashion is produced and experienced. The walkthrough showcases digital fashion designs by Angela Lin Chen within an immersive environment, placing her work in a context that reflects the industry’s shift towards more sustainable and adaptable approaches.
