Job Portal UI Mockup
Job Portal UI MockupFinal Major Project – Figma was used to create this mock-up, where it has been written in basic wireframe. It includes the layout of each contents, with a comment which explains the contents, i.e. action once button is clicked, the layout of header and footer and colour of the components, etc. The end result is shown in the next image. Job Portal UI End ResultFinal Major Project – Visual Studio Code has been used to hard code the UI , HTML was used for elements rendering and CSS for styling the elements. Additionally, JavaScript was used to make the page dynamic once jobs are posted by staff. This page students can browse job positions, where they can search and filter jobs that meet their study fields and their needs, and where they can read information about the jobs if they are interested in the position, by clicking in “Read Description” button. Students can also go to the AI Chatbot page by clicking the icon in bottom right corner. Staff and admins can also browse jobs; however, the difference is that chatbot icon will not be displayed. Accessibility test has been performed by using WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines ) Compliance to check if texts are accessible for each of the chosen background colours. System Architecture in Job Posting Functionality
System Architecture in Job Posting FunctionalityFinal Major Project – Draw.io has been used to design a system architecture in job posting functionality, which shows the blueprint in how the system is performed once job is being posted by staff to homepage in portal of staff, student and admins. While comments provide details about the activity and the shape of a rectangle indicates the action being performed, images are provided to visually depict the action. Use Case Diagram of Rave WBL Placement Platform System
Use Case Diagram of Rave WBL Placement Platform SystemFinal Major Project – Draw.io has been used to create a use case diagram which shows the interaction between actors and the system. Use Case diagram includes internal actors ; Students, Staff and Admins, with a external actor of AI Chatbot. Additionally, it includes use case (Core functionality) with relationship of “Includes” which means one use case are part of another use case (i.e. in use case of Login, this functionality includes a authentication, where users must be authenticated before using the system). Additionally, “Extend” indicates the additional use case added within the use case (i.e. Students can apply jobs, as well as save jobs).
