Ngwenguh Suzie Chi is a fashion designer whose work is focused on giving voice to cultural authenticity, inclusivity, and design innovation. Most recently in representing Bamenda's traditional Toghu wear. As a designer Chi views the concept of fashion in a progressive way, aligning the traditional with new silhouettes and purpose.
Chi's aim is to highlight the relevance and accessible nature of Toghu dress, celebrating an elite attire that was originally for nobles and had a protected status, by creating a collection for all to wear and celebrate her culture.
