Blood at the Hands of My Lover
Blood at the Hands of My LoverBlood at the Hands of My Lover is an experimental series of digital and traditional media, exploring our inner worlds and the complex connection with the self, symbolised by the pomegranate. The series draws from personal experiences with self-image, human connections and the reflection of the inner world. It explores desperation, self-hatred and despair but also realisation and self-compassion. It’s a journey of healing, to find tenderness and stability we must also experience the destruction and pain. We cannot have one without living the other.
