Tommy Partridge

Tommy Partridge is a visual artist who has been working freelance, on commission, for around 4 years. The majority of his work is centred around music, society and politics. Starting out by creating album covers for UK artists then moving onto fashion brands, collaborations and lots of personal projects. Focusing on collage and mixed media work to combine physical making with software skills creating outcomes in his developing style.

More recently, Partridge has been experimenting with stop motion animation and video, combining his sketches and physical techniques with digital skills. He has created pieces channelling his thoughts around mental health, current affairs, sobriety and more. Building a network under the persona Phony Ericsson through social media and networking, he continues to create things personal to him.

Man in Lewisham – A portrait taken on 35mm film of one of the people who works at Lewisham market. Taken as part of a project looking at the negative impact of gentrification and the amazing people and stories which areas of London are built upon.

Clear Your Head – A stop motion made using drawings and sampled audio. It's important to take a break in the noisiness of life and clear your head. Check up on your friends and family.

SKA – A mixed media stop motion looking at the Ska and 2 Tone culture in Britain.

My Britain – An archival video looking at the British Values. These are extremely important but what right does our government or politicians have preaching them when they don't put them into practice themselves?
